LEGACY SQUARE CAPITAL BECAME THE NATIONAL PARTNER OF THE RUSSIAN CONTENDER TO THE TITLE OF THE WORLD CHESS CHAMPION OF 2016
The match for a title of the world chess champion of 2016 (the 55th in the history of chess) — will take place between the reigning world champion Magnus Karlsen (Norway) and contender Sergey Karyakin (Russia) in New York. For the first time since 2008 the Russian will play in a match for a title of the world chess champion.
President of Chess federation of Moscow and Legacy Square Capital fund - Vladimir Palikhata, declared that Sergey Karjakin, is a member of the chess team of the Russian capital, and also the active participant of chess tournaments and events. It is a great honor for Legacy Square Capital fund to support the Russian sportsman at the moment when so much is at stake - a world champion title. It is important to note that the name of Sergey Karjakin became in Russia a peculiar brand, and it is promoted much by an active position of the sportsman who helps to develop actively the chess movement, to attract younger generation.
Let's remind that the businessman Vladimir Palikhata, is the head of Legacy Square Capital fund, he was elected to a position of the president of Chess federation of Moscow in April, 2012. The last programme - studying of chess at school as one of the subjects along with literature and physics. From this year chess will be taught in 250 out of 750 Moscow schools. It is extremely important process for formation of healthy, intellectual generation of Russians.
